Is Tehaleh Part of Bonney Lake? Schools, HOA, and the Commute

Tehaleh has Bonney Lake mailing addresses, but it sits in unincorporated Pierce County south of the city, so the county handles permits and the Pierce County Sheriff handles policing. Two school districts serve it, Sumner-Bonney Lake and Orting, so check the district for the exact address. Homes there belong to the Tehaleh Owners Association, and many daily trips head north through Bonney Lake toward SR 410, while a larger new road down to SR 162 near Orting is still being built.
